I am a licensed wealth management professional who emphasizes sustainability both professionally and personally. This occupation is about being of service. To my clients, my environment, and the business ecosystem as a whole. As a Portfolio Manager, I specialize in managing assets in a way that translates my client's values & ethics into their investment portfolio. This is known more formally as Socially Responsible Investing (SRI), ESG (environmental, social governance) Integration, or Green Investing. Outside of wealth management, I find myself often engulfed in; education, athletics (Jiu Jitsu & Basketball), technology stacking, Spanish language & culture, podcasting, and health & wellness. In other words, when not managing assets I dedicate my time to; learning things, building things, moving my body, and doing those things with others. I am a partner in the Ethical Investment brand - EthicInvest. Which is housed by Leede Jones Gable Inc. an independent, 100% employee owned brokerage house. I work extensively with EthicInvest founder Anthony Edwards, who is an Investment Advisor and Insurance Broker with over 25 years of experience in the financial industry and the SRI environment. Here at EthicInvest I work collaboratively with my team, our clients, and our advisors to empower individuals, entrepreneurs, and families to preserve, transfer, and grow their; wealth, values, and knowledge for generations to come. I allocate my time between Vancouver, where the majority of our business takes place, and Vancouver and Hornby Islands, where I spend time with nature, in deep work, meeting clients, and revisiting my roots. I've also been known to spend a sizable portion of my time working remotely around the world, generally where Spanish is spoken and where the timezones permit.
