About Jourdan Jackson

I am a native to Colorado Springs and love to call this place home. I have always been one who loves animals and nature. As a kid, my bookshelf was full of books about orca, ladybugs, and horses. I love trying new career paths and have found myself primarily in a customer service role. I have learned to engage with people from so many backgrounds and cultures. I always like to tell interviewers that I am like a chameleon; I am confident in who I am as an employee and person, but I will treat each situation I find myself in as uniquely as it happens. I have quite the extensive and eclectic CV. Most significantly, I have spent multiple years as a barista, flight attendant, esthetician, and student/laboratory assistant. I currently work as an esthetician and am finishing my final year in college. My degree will be a B.S. in Biology. I have loved being a student and plan to continue to a graduate program. I have found a great joy in working alongside professors, grad students, and supervisors in research and laboratory work. I have spent the majority of my working years so far trying to find my niche, and although it's caused my resume to be multiple pages, I think the experience and connections I've gained are invaluable. I truly enjoy learning new trades and skills and will continually improve upon myself both personally and professionally.
