About Jovan Lukic

Graduated at Faculty of technical sciences (Novi Sad, Serbia) in 2005, with Master of science degree in electrical engineering. The same year I started my career in DMS Group LLC company as software developer and business analyst, where I researched and developed specialized algorithms for distribution power grid analysis, real-time operation, and planning - DMS software. DMS software has been delivered through large scale Smart Grid IT projects, because of which my interest for successful project management began. Experience in DMS solution development helped me to understand industry specifics and played major role in understanding how to merge existing world project management practices and standards with DMS industry specific ones. The goal is to successfully lead implementation of large scale Smart Grid projects, resulting in creating value for customers and increasing company revenues. In order to stay deeply involved in researching power engineering discipline, I obtained Magister academic degree in electrical engineering, a research-oriented degree awarded for 2 years of studies following the Master's studies (which lasted for 5 years), and also continued being part-time member of teaching staff at the Faculty of technical sciences in Novi Sad, Department of power, electronic and telecommunication engineering.Currently working in the position of Director Global PMO with Global Ops & Innovation team.I am married for 17 years to my wife and have been proud father of two girls; my three sources of strength and my support columns in life.
