Greetings and welcome to my LinkedIn profile! Graduate student with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences. Currently finishing my Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, specialization Molecular Mechanisms in Health and Disease at Hasselt University. Passionate about Regenerative Medicine, NanoMedicine, and Metabolomics. My interest in the molecular pathways of diseases and their therapies stems from me being a Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus patient. As long as I can remember I wanted to do research with the ultimate goal of contributing to a disease-modifying Type 1 Diabetes therapy. As a student at Hasselt University, I have attended ample interesting courses, which evidently expanded my scientific interests. As a result, I turned into a biomedical scientist with a huge interdisciplinary interest. Now that I am graduating from my Master's, I would like to have the opportunity to further expand my interests by doing research all over the world. I love meeting new people and talking about all kinds of topics such as astrology, psychology, economics, and sports.
