I am seeking a case manager position to transition my patient advocate bedside skills to providing efficient and effective administrative care. I bring 7+ years of experience in communications and customer experience with 3+ years of clinical nursing experience. I am proficient in EHR Systems (Epic, Cerner, and Medi-Tech), computer skills in Microsoft word, excel, and outlook, case management discharge planning, and insurance pre-approval. With experience as a travel nurse, I have the ability to adapt to new changing environments and technology, and making independent decisions based on sound judgement. I am ready for a permanent job position to increase my knowledge of CMS Guidelines, MCG, InterQual or other medically appropriate clinical guidelines, Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP and applicable State regulatory requirements following URAC standards. In pursuit of acquiring my Certified Case Manager certification, or any other certifications, requested by my employer once able.
