As a Production Associate at Tesla, I assist with the construction and assembly of the Tesla Model Y, the company's compact SUV that offers high performance, efficiency, and safety. I have been working at Tesla for 10 months, and I have developed solid professional standards, problem solving skills, and a collaborative mindset. In my role, I perform standardized work processes and follow defined work instructions and sequences, while also adapting to novel assembly procedures and custom tooling or test methods. I operate robotic systems and complex manufacturing equipment under supervision, and I escalate functional and process failures to the appropriate support groups and leaders. I also communicate any health and/or safety concerns, and maintain a safe and productive working environment. I understand and utilize manifest codes and work instructions, and I work with internal and external clients to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. I am motivated by the mission and vision of Tesla, and I am eager to learn new skills and contribute to the team's success.
