Background

About Joy Busk

As an international HR profile I have gained ample experience from a range of global companies. This includes end-to-end recruitments on all levels from unskilled workers to executive, and I have filled hundreds of positions during my career. Besides, I have worked with organisational development, change management, people management, training activities, industrial relations and labour law, as well as reoccurring events such as appraisals, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, health & safety, employee engagement, HR systems, policies and KPIs. I am characterised by being focused on development and collaboration. I excell at execution and project management being respectful of deadlines. I enjoy creating bottom line value, and I am mindful of ensuring effective processes to support the business. My international experience stems right back from my earliest childhood, and by the time I turned 21 I had spent more than half my life abroad. For instance, from 1983 to 1991 I lived in Spain where I attended British secondary school, passed my O-levels, and afterwards worked in the tourist industry. Since then I have most often worked across borders, and I thrive in a complex organisation with multiple languages, cultures, and markets. While I am happy to travel and go to any meetings, events or similar that require my presence, I work primarily from home in either Denmark or Spain (La Nucia in the Alicante Province).
