Experience serving both global organizations and smaller development departments in prospect research, donor database management, donor relations and administrative responsibilities. Possess a strong understanding of the entire fundraising process and cultivation of building relationships and partnerships to support development team goals. Knowledgeable of the global funding process on behalf of government aid agencies, corporate giving and foundation grant funding to organizations and individual programs. Proficient using donor databases, such as Salesforce, Raiser's Edge and developed a wealth of knowledge using prospect research software and internet search engines to write detailed prospective donor profiles and briefings. Have contributed to the promotion and planning of major special events and smaller functions. Trained in writing donor acknowledgment letters, proposals, pitch letters and biographies. Some noted accomplishments in development include raising in sponsorship money for the Alzheimer’s Association and meeting the individual fundraising goal of for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. While assisting non-profits on development assignments, I have been privileged to work with some of the most passionate and compassionate professionals in the non-profit landscape serving top executives and working in a team environment.
