About Joy Cloutier

Many years ago I discovered that I loved all things accounting. I have always gravitated toward those duties in every job. While my professional experience is varied (health and life insurance customer service, real estate development coordinator, retail management, interior decorating and design, teacher, grocery business, accounting, tax preparation, bookkeeping, volunteer and life-long student of everything), I can honestly say, I love to learn new things, but my first love is to make sense of the numbers behind the work. My time as a self-employed bookkeeper for the family business has occupied most of my time over the past 20 years. Some may discount working for myself as less valuable, however, it has been a make or break situation during the past 10 years. I've had to figure out how to keep a company solvent and manage the family's financial future during very uncertain times. I have so much more to discover and am so excited to see where I professionally will grow while contributing to another company!
