As a Tax Analyst at SRS Distribution, a leading roofing distributor in North America, I apply my clerical business training and analytical skills to ensure accurate and compliant tax reporting and filing for the company. I have more than thirty years of experience in accounts payable, master data analysis and 1099 processing, working with various accounting systems and software, such as Oracle, SAP, JDE, Epicor, and Agility. In my current role, I support the tax department in collecting and reviewing sales and use tax certificates, updating customer sales tax information in Avalara and Beltran, filing annual supplier 1099 forms, and responding to tax audits and inquiries. I also contribute to the improvement of the tax processes and procedures, leveraging my knowledge of manufacturing operations and best practices.
