Background

About Joy Dolendo

Previous to my work in operations, I studied in the medical field aspiring to become a registered nurse. I obtained a nursing assistant certification and worked alongside patients and handled their daily living. I decided to change direction and continue my education and worked part-time in Amazons delivery center. I obtained my Associates degree, but decided to continue my venture in Amazon. Transferred into a Fulfillment center and learned a better understanding of logistical operations. I promoted into shipclerking and understood our customer promise of delivery schedules. I was later offered a position in Process Assistant developing myself along with my team. I was able to gain knowledge in creating interpersonal connections while driving performance. Currently, I am an Area Manager learning more into the logistics of Amazon.
