About Joy Guyot
Entrepreneurs share a common trait: the ability to reinvent and evolve. My journey began in the late '90s, leaving the hotel industry to launch a website design business for the hospitality sector. I then pivoted to online auctions, followed by operating the Whiskey Trail Lodge and Whistlestop Outpost STR. After a brief corporate detour, I returned to tourism with a key contract for the Golden Municipal Campground in 2008 and opened The French Connection, a cheese and fine food store. As technology evolved, so did I, creating the iQuiki Kiosk Concierge—a digital tool for guest bookings and interactions. In 2022, I became a Town Councillor and helped grow our local Pride Committee into a full-fledged Society. Reinvention is about risk, learning, and growth—and I'm just getting started!
