About Joy Mathias

As an ESG Assurance Associate at PwC Australia, I apply my engineering and sustainability expertise to help clients improve their environmental, social, and governance performance and reporting. I work with a diverse range of industries and sectors, including mining, energy, manufacturing, and consumer goods, to assess their ESG risks and opportunities, conduct audits and assurance, and provide recommendations and solutions. I hold a Masters of Engineering in Water Resource Management from the University of South Australia, where I ranked in the top 15% of all STEM students and received the University Merit Award. I have a strong background in environmental engineering, water and wastewater treatment design, and ISO 14001 and 45001 standards. I have successfully delivered and commissioned multiple projects in water and wastewater management, saving water, energy, and costs for my clients. I am also proficient in Auto-Cad and Enablon software. I am passionate about creating a positive impact on the environment and society through my work and learning.
