I have over thirty years of experience in the public and private sector with fifteen years senior management experience working in an operational customer/client-centered environment. The positions I have held over the course of my career have included senior management, financial management, quality service /continuous service improvement of product and service delivery, building and leading high performing teams in: • developing strategic plans with multi-year organizational goals and objectives aligned with organization values, priorities and goals, and; developing, implementing and evaluating related operational plans and outcomes; • developing and managing the multi-year financial forecasts, annual budgets to meet targets; • developing and implementing continuous improvement plans to integrate service quality into all service delivery programs, including service level standards, performance measures and evaluation; • advancing programs and services including the development and implementation of action plans to ensure that annual legislative requirements are met for programs; and, • providing direct management services and support to municipalities, provincial ministries, indigenouS communities, and other partners / stakeholders. I have practical experience in organizational reviews, change management, human resources planning, hiring, and performance management in a unionized and non-unionized environment, and developing policies to ensure local human resources, financial, and administrative policies are consistent with corporate direction. I have a proven record of success in a variety of challenging working environments.
