There are qualities instilled in you by your parents that you walk through life with. For me, those qualities are honesty, integrity, hard work, responsibility, and helping others. That’s how I conduct business and lead my life every day. We are different than other insurance companies. At the Joy Morse Agency, we treat our customers like family. We strive to be of service & offer good advice to our customers. What good is insurance if it doesn’t offer you the correct protection when you need it? Insurance is not a cookie cutter business, it is a matter of reviewing your complete financial situation and advising what is needed to protect your family properly. I am proud of our 29 years serving the community of Lakeland. I love Lakeland, Polk County, and the surrounding areas. Lakeland is a great place to live, raise children, and own a business! People often ask me why I changed my career from nursing to insurance. I was fortunate enough to meet Bob Goodwin, a State Farm Agent, in Houston, TX, who encouraged me to look into the opportunity of becoming a State Farm Agent. At the time, I was the Acting Director of Surgical Critical Care Nursing at a large University Hospital and I didn’t see changing careers as starting over; I saw a career change into the world of insurance as a great business opportunity! My parents taught me that you could do or be anything you put your mind to as long as you were willing to do the work. 29 years later I am still willing to do the work to excel in my industry! Being a self-employed insurance professional is a rewarding career. It has given me the opportunity to help thousands of people over the course of my career with their insurance and financial services. Insurance has also given me the opportunity to grow and develop team members in my agency to become better risk advisors and entrepreneurs. At the end of my day, it’s all about being of service to my family, my team, my clients, and my community!
