About Joy Nicolini

My experience in the insurance industry has covered, property damage and bodily injury claims. I also have excelled in the investigation and negotiation of litigated bodily injury cases. That experience and my passion for training and development lead me to Claims Supervision. I supported my teams to success through coaching, analyzing data and clear expectations. Through these experiences, I was able to move to a Compliance role overseeing 18 states in our quest to comply fully with all local and federal regulations. This role includes, but is not limited to: special projects, Market Conduct Exam coordination, Data Call responses and training. My degree in Psychology, from the University of South Florida, assists me each day in my working with employees, management and customers. My concentration in college was Industrial and Organizational Psychology which deals directly with the impact that psychology has on businesses. I am highly skilled in a behavior based coaching system due to my degree along with my sales, management and insurance background. I have lead and participated in many special projects surrounding cost savings and optimization. I have been an intricate part of new hire on site training, in a Live Learning facility, using a real time claims environment. I also am proficient in Root Cause Problem Solving techniques aligned with the Yellow Belt process. I hold a Six Sigma Yellow Belt. I have been a successful remote employee for over 10 years.
