About Joy Olson

Before attending college, Joy started her professional career in the Insurance industry. She became a community leader through various board positions within Insurance Women of Larimer County & as the President of Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Larimer County. After eight years of experience managing a local agency & working as a regional corporate trainer in the mountain states region, Joy left her prestigious position for an even greater opportunity with the title of Mom, of two amazing children. When returning to the workforce, she switched gears to Research Accounting at CSU for the College of Agricultural Sciences & the College of Engineering, managing over 60 million of research funds annually. This experience lead the way for a future degree pursuit, as she returned to school at Front Range Community College where she earned her A.A. degree in Psychology, then ultimately returning back to CSU years later as a student. While attending college, Joy had the privilege of contracting with the USDA as a technical writer, providing support on their real property procurement manual and procedures until the contract expired. Joy then joined the ranks of Real Estate along the Front Range, and hasn't looked back! The variety of experience through multiple industries allows Joy to provide the essential skills package that elevates her as an elite professional in her current position as Real Estate Consultant and Coach. The journey from commercial insurance, to University accounting, to government technical writing, and ultimately real estate has allowed her to provide impeccable knowledge, strong negotiating skills, and excellent service to her residential real estate clients and investors. She has lived in Northern Colorado for over 40 years, so she has seen it grow up!
