About Joy Simon

With over 5 years of experience in recruiting and a decade-long background in IT and Education, I believe that every day presents an opportunity for learning and growth. At Kaeppel Consulting, I have the privilege of connecting talented professionals across various industries, including IT, healthcare, higher education, and government, with opportunities that align with their skills and career aspirations. I find joy in engaging with individuals—from college students to seasoned professionals—and discovering their motivations, aspirations, and core values. There's a sense of fulfillment in helping people find roles that challenge and elevate their careers. I take great pride in identifying top talent and ensuring they have a positive, seamless candidate experience. My passion for recruiting was ignited when I was first hired as a recruiter. Traveling nationwide for campus interviews, engaging with over 500 students in auditoriums, and consistently hiring new talent each week was both rewarding and energizing. In addition to recruitment, I also bring expertise in business training. Outside of work, I love experimenting with dessert recipes, binge-watching K-dramas, and enjoying K-pop music. I delight in singing rhymes with my kids, sewing, and indulging in a bit of shopping. In the evenings, you can find me playing volleyball with my neighbors, adding a bit of friendly competition to the mix.
