Am a seasoned Public health practitioner with MSc Public Health, PhD Public health Administration ( in view) with a background in Nursing and Midwifery and over 13 years of experience in ANC, labour and delivery, family planning, care of patients with VVF, training of health workers and community volunteers, promoting gender responsive services including counselling of GBV survivors. A certified family planning, Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI), Essential Newborn Care(ENC) and life saving skills trainer.Have the ability to work individually and as a team with little or no supervision. Over 6 years of consultancy with NGOs like UNICEF Nigeria, Breakthrough Action Nigeria and Good mother and child health initiative (CSo) in kebbi state. I have passion for public health, with strong skills and interest in RMNCH towards improving the life of mother's and children. Am dedicated to providing technical leadership in public health programing in the areas of maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH) including family planning/reproductive health (FP/RH), HIV/AIDS, Gender integration and social inclusion in service provision, quality of care, emergency obstetrics and neonatal care; maternal and child nutrition, antenatal and postnatal care; post abortion care; immunization; essential newborn care; integrated management of childhood illness; adolescent reproductive health, health systems strengthening and quality improvement. And also a champion implementing GANC Concept to increase uptake and retention of pregnant women for ANC to meet up with WHO 2016 ANC guidelines for positive pregnancy experience of 8 contacts.
