About Joya Lyons

I'm Dr. Joya, D.D.S, a believer, wife, mother, cosmetic dentist, author, entrepreneur, and inventor. I'm living proof that obedience and covenant with God yield incomprehensible grace and mercy and bear unlimited fruits. I'm the proud husband and wife owner of the dental practice Smile Savvy Cosmetic Dentistry with my loving husband, Dr. Andrew Lyons, D.D.S, where we serve the Charlotte, NC, community. My husband and I are the official dentists for the superstar N.B.A. team, Charlotte Hornets, making these young men represent our city well with the greatest smiles. Between being a wife, mother, and cosmetic dentist, I managed to set out time to invest in my other God-given gifts of being an author and inventor. I'm the Founder and C.E.O. of Enchanted TraditionsTM, LLC, where I help parents introduce cherished traditions to their kids. My first efforts were penning "The Tooth Fairy and The Enchanted Box" and creating The Enchanted Tooth Box (T.M.) to make playing the role of "The Tooth Fairy" seamless. In kind, I started my own tradition, S.C.O.R.E, Inc, a non-profit organization, with my sister in 2017. Through mentorship, our mission is to expose, empower, and encourage future girls to pursue S.T.E.M. careers. Again, I'm a witness that when we make plans, the best executions come through God!
