Creative, punctual and ambition, are three words that describe my work ethic. I have a systematic and analytical mind-set. I like to approach problems and question from different angles and often think "out of the box". My creativity has given me the advantage to come-up with creative solutions. I obtained my bachelor and master degree in Biomedical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology. In my master I focused on controlled surface functionality of supramolecular biomaterials for the development of antifouling biomaterials in the group of prof. Bert Meijer and prof. dr. Patricia Dankers. As part of my master, I performed an internship at the Australian Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN) at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia in the group of prof. Alan Rowan. Thereafter, I worked as PhD student in the group of prof. Patricia Dankers, where I focussed on the design of functional biomaterials with life-like properties. Currently, I am a Technical Service Specialist in cardiac devices
