My journey began with aspirations of becoming a nurse, driven by a desire to help others. However, it quickly became clear that my path lay elsewhere when my body signaled that nursing wasn’t the right fit for me.* Cue the upset stomach * This pivotal moment led me to Independence Blue Cross, where I discovered my true calling. At Independence Blue Cross, I found a unique way to care for people by leveraging my skills in empathy, compassion, and relatability. I realized that supporting individuals in navigating their healthcare options and ensuring they receive the care they deserve is just as impactful as clinical care. I am dedicated to fostering positive relationships, advocating for patient needs, and making a difference in the lives of those I serve. My experience has taught me that care comes in many forms, and I am proud to contribute to the well-being of others through my work in healthcare.
