About Joyce Chittick

Joyce has been an actress, singer and dancer on Broadway, as well as in theaters across the country, performing to glowing reviews. She has appeared in some of the most recognizable shows of the Broadway stage, including 'Cabaret','The Pajama Game','The Who's Tommy' and most recently 'Anything Goes.' As a choreographer her work has been seen everywhere from stage to screen to Television and even on cruise ships. These credits include: Lifetime's AUDC (On-screen choreographer, two seasons), National tours of 'Grease'(2010-11 & 2008-10) and 'Wonderful Town'(2006), FIFA 2009 World Event(Atlantis Resort, Bahamas),'Grease'(Broadway, Assoc. Chor.),'Wonderful Town'(City Center Encores, Assoc. Chor.), Broadway By the Year (Town Hall, NYC), Roundabout Theater Company's Spring Gala (2012, 2007)(Co- Dir/Chor), Norwegian Cruise Line's 'Elements'(Associate Dir/Chor), NBC's "You're the One That I Want"(On-screen choreographer), and choreographer for the film 'Virgin Alexander.' Joyce has also taught extensively at NYU, Penn State and The University of Texas at Austin's Musical Theater Workshop. She brings a passion to teaching young people, of any skill level, the art of dance and musical theater. Teaching is definitely one of her strong suits. Knowing how to get the most out of her students, whether they be professional or amateur, is something she thrives on. A true professional, Joyce is always seeking to challenge herself, both on stage and behind the scenes.
