About Joyce Chung

Excited to be exploring various aspects of the planning industry, I am currently a Town Planner at Niche Planning Studio. I have completed a Student Planner program at the Victorian Planning Authority and am excited to learn from different organisations in my planning career. As a graduate of the Bachelor of Design at the University of Melbourne, my interests in design and our public spaces have led me to complete a Major in Urban Planning. To complement this, I have also completed a Minor in Spatial Systems where I believe maps hold crucial data and can tell various stories. A personal passion for architecture history and different movements around the world has also enticed me to study a Design Histories Specialization. As ex Vice-President of the Design Student Society at the University of Melbourne and having participated in the Melbourne Peer Mentor Program, I am always willing to help others and give back to the community. My extensive background in the customer service field has also helped me develop strong interpersonal and communication skills.
