About Joyce Devera

Are you struggling to get through each day? Do you feel like you have no where to turn for help? Are you stuck and do not know the next steps? Some of our hardest times can leave us feeling overwhelmed, lonely, sad, angry, confused, and unsure how to process. I will provide the space to help navigate through your thoughts and emotions and help you discover your peace, happiness, and authentic self. Through years of training, I have diversified my therapeutic experience to include trauma, grief and loss, domestic violence, relationship issues, women's issues, life transitions, emotional abuse, anxiety, and depression. I use an empathic and compassionate approach but can be direct, when necessary. I enjoy working with teens, adults, individuals, couples, and families. I use integrated trauma-informed therapy modalities to include: EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative, Solutions Focused, and Motivational Interviewing.
