About Joyce Lee

Bring joy and liveliness to people around. Joyce is a person with passion, creativity, people & organizational skill, resilience to adversity. She completed her study in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. Since then she entered the world's largest telecom company as an account manager working with the biggest Voice Over IP clients in the world. Joyce did not stop there. Joyce believes her purpose of life should not be limited with a well paid job while many people in the world are still suffering. At the age of 26, she quit her job and moved into the humanitarian aid industry. She is now having 17 years of experience working with one of the largest International NGO as a Marketing Manager. Her strength is to connect individuals and corporations with meaningful poverty alleviation projects which match with their will; to monitor and evaluate the project progress so that the social impact is maximized. Joyce is resourceful, creative, and willing to challenge herself, taking on leadership and pioneering roles in her marketing team. By organizing events to strengthen companies's CSR impact; by holding forums and workshops to foster ideas exchange; cultural exchange activities to broaden teenagers' exposure.Before that, Joyce did community development work in Mashan County, Guangxi Province managing a team of 20 and Rmb3.2 million of annual budget to achieve SDGs strategy in Health, Education, Disability and Livelihood Management programs. She also participated in Wenchuan Earthquake Response. Joyce's ambition is to further pursue her career in a development organisation with a broader scope of responsibility.
