I have experience with several Learning Management Systems including: eCollege, Blackboard, Angel, Moodle, Sakai, Website based and Canvas. I am a FT Charter College online faculty member. In I was hired by LCC as the Title Coordinator to integrate technology and instruction for developmental courses. Starting with intranet learning systems education delivery, I moved on to online developmental course delivery and computer assisted tutoring programs. In May of I was promoted to the position of Director of the Labette Community College Student Success Center and Adult Education. Prior to LCC receiving approval to offer an online degree program, I created and managed online professional development courses for faculty members and evaluated Labette Community College online courses. From 2005 to 2010 I served as the Dean of Instruction position at Allen Community College. At ACC I created and taught online professional development workshops targeting learning communities, teaching methods directed toward ability levels, learning styles, multiple intelligence, strategies for success for “at risk” students, and understanding stages of maturity. I supervised the director of assessment of student learning, course and program development, evaluation of fulltime faculty classroom instruction, management of several budgets, development and supervision of the Carl Perkins Grant (Career and Technical Education) and Adult Education Grant. At LCC I was chair of the Student Learning category of PEAK accreditation; at ACC co-chair for the Student Learning category of AQIP and wrote the 2008 online education action project. I taught an introduction to online learning course and faculty professional development courses for American Public University Systems (APUS). JAM is a a website based online education service company developed in 2011 (professional development courses for educators seeking to meet re-licensing/certification requirements).
