About Joydeep Paul

My association with traveling has been for quite some time now. The desire to visit new places led me to the hospitality and tourism industry. I have a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly in the Human Resources, Front Office and Food and Beverage Department. I have had the pleasure to work with The Oberoi Hotels and Resorts in the past. Currently, I am working with Marriott International as a Multi-Property Human Resources Generalist. Before being with Marriott International my experience is with the Oberoi Hotels and Resorts for over three years in all major departments and approximately for a year and a half as an entrepreneur for my family business during covid-19. I believe all these years of experience has nurtured and polished different qualities and leadership abilities in me and I believe that there is no end to learning. Over the past year, I have focused on myself understanding my skills and qualities. For me, this was very important as covid 19 has had a big impact on our lives. I have not only developed how to honor and respect life but also to stay positive in the worst situations. My journey to master the art of hospitality has begun and certainly, there's more to learn.
