A dynamic, highly motivated, and goal-driven engineering professional with proven track record of excellence. Some of Joydeepa’s core skills include engineering design, construction planning, and turn-over support. Working with Hatch Ltd, Joydeepa has over four years of experience in the mining/consulting industry — assisting in designing and drafting various project related deliverables. Her most notable past projects include contributing to the design development of various greenfield and brownfield mine power systems, conducting medium to low voltage arc flash studies, developing coal/gas fired boilers’ instrumentation system, and assisting in the instrumentation design for a reclaimer in a mine site. During her secondment to BHP, Joydeepa was responsible for planning E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) specific construction scopes for a contractor within Jansen Project. In her current role with Hatch-Bantrel Joint Venture (HBJV), she is providing engineering, procurement, and construction support to various contractors for the Jansen Project. With strong interest in power (generations, transmissions, renewable energy/smart grid) and instrumentation/control systems, she aspires to utilize her detail-oriented approach along with excellent communication skills to solve the toughest problems in the power/energy industry. Beyond technical skills, Joydeepa is enthusiastic about sharing knowledge within the engineering community, promoting Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), and supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across mining and utility/energy industry.
