About Joylynn Nesbitt

I have completed a Masters degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio in Teaching English as a Second language and have worked in the classroom and partnered with teachers to support them for the past 10 years. Some of the support I have provided includes: professional development sessions in various subject areas, grade level and subject specific planning support, accommodations support, testing and assessment training, modeling lessons, coaching teachers, and various other aspects of support. I have also created my own curriculum to support struggling learners learn the TEKS in the classroom. Both general classroom assessments and state assessments have proven that the strategies and curriculum used improves student learning and success. I also have the ability to implement technology into the classroom and help teachers understand how to use their technology in the classroom to improve student engagement. I have a reputation for being very likable, easy to work with, and present information in a professional.
