About Joyyoong Lee

I'm both an Australian Institute of Medical Scientist (AIMS) and Americal Society of Clinical Pathologist - International (ASCPi) certified, Taiwan-licensed Medical Technologist with four years of working experience in a CAP-accredited blood transfusion unit and core laboratory (with solid expertise in Biochemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis and Microscopy), in addition to excellent phlebotomy skills. Being a detailed-oriented, analytical, adaptive, proactive learner and able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while enjoying sharpening professional knowledge and skills, I consider myself well-suited for a supportive role that produces reliable data and test results for clinical or scientific investigations. I'm interested in gaining experience in flow cytometry/molecular diagnosis laboratory settings to widen my horizon and skillsets. Though my experience is limited, I have had exposure to gene editing and molecular biology lab during my internship and writing my undergraduate research thesis. However, I welcome any opportunities in areas where I have trained in the past. With the versatile skillsets gained from previous work experiences in a clinical environment, I'm offering the team an array of skillsets that the laboratory can readily utilise with a reduced training period in exchange for new learning opportunities.
