About Jp Slater

As the VP of Music at Giant, I leverage my passion for discovering and supporting new artists, my extensive experience in artist management and relations, and my athletic background to create innovative and impactful music projects and partnerships. I work with a diverse and talented team of music professionals, artists, and collaborators to deliver high-quality music content and experiences to millions of listeners and fans worldwide.I started my career as an artist manager, working with Hodgy, a member of the influential hip-hop collective Odd Future. I helped him launch his own record label, Poortrait Records, and became its president, overseeing all aspects of the business, from production and distribution to marketing and licensing. I also joined Nura, a pioneering audio technology company, as the global head of artist relations, where I built and maintained strong relationships with artists, labels, and industry stakeholders, and promoted Nura's innovative products and services. Throughout my career, I have honed my skills in social networking, event planning, and teamwork, and I have always been open to learning, growth, and new opportunities.
