Over 35 years of work experience with the Indian Navy as a Commissioned Officer and six years at the helm of affairs as VP & Head Shipyard at L&T and three years at Dahej Shipyard, Welspun Corp Ltd. Hold distinction of completing each Shipbuilding Project ahead of schedule, including first of the class. • Skilled in Ship & Submarine Design, Construction,Repairs & Refits, System Integration, Technical Administration of Defence Technologies, Establishment of Quality Management System, and Technical Training. An expert in implementing Shipbuilding 4.0. • Wide ranging experience in Design And Development Of Technical Infrastructure Including Plant and Machinery, General Administration, HR of up to civilian employees and held prestigious appointments in the Indian Navy, Viz. Project Director of Strategic Submarine Project, General Manager (Technical) & Manager Yard Services of Naval Dockyard (Mumbai), DGM(System Integration) at Ship Building Centre, Fleet Electrical Officer of the Eastern Fleet • Developed state of the art Combat Management System and Control System for the Indian Navy and System Integration of Radars, Sonar, Fire Control Systems and various other sensors as DGM(System Integration Group) • Have been at the forefront of activities pertaining to design and development of Strategic Missiles and its combat management systems involving DRDO Labs and DPSUs. • Three years’ experience as Defence Attaché at Sweden with additional accreditation to Denmark, Norway and Finland. Have dealt at Inter-governmental level and was instrumental in signing of MOU of Defence Cooperation between the two countries in Defence Cooperation. • Have worked as Consultant with GSL for system installation and commissioning of weapons and sensors on board Veer Class of Missile Boats • Have served as Project Officer for contruction of Kora Class of ships and Fast Attack Crafts • Recipient of prestigious awards (including Nau Sena Medal (Devotion to Duty) and Vishist Sewa Medal (VSM) from His Excellency, President of India) in appreciation of services rendered and Commendation from the Chief of the Naval Staff.Recipient of Sword of Honour from British Safety Counsil for acheiving five star rating for the first Indian Shipyard.
