Jean-Sebastien is an expert in sustainable mechanical engineering for diverse and complex buildings. He has a wealth of experience in designing large-scale projects such as residential, commercial, institutional and industrial buildings, as well as museums, libraries and airports. He has been involved in some of the most innovative and pioneering projects in Canada, such as two Living Buildings, the first Passive House community center in North America, and Vancouver House, a Vancouver landmark. JS current projects include the multi-disciplinary design of the new Victoria Airport control tower, affordable housing developments, and is currently working on electrifying Canada's transportation systems to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. With his background in aeronautic engineering, Jean-Sebastien has exceptional analytical skills and a creative approach to problem-solving. He excels at delivering high-quality design solutions within tight deadlines and integrated design teams. He is passionate about pushing the boundaries of what is possible in mechanical engineering, aiming for less intrusive systems, higher efficiencies and better thermal comfort.
