About Jt Haight

I operate at the intersection of operations, strategy, and communication, translating complex systems into clear, actionable direction that drives performance. At the Utah Transit Authority, I’ve led across both operations and communications, overseeing frontline teams while shaping messaging for major initiatives, service changes, and organizational priorities. Whether improving on-time performance through data-driven campaigns or building communication frameworks that reach a operations-heavy workforce, my focus is the same: aligning people, strategy, and execution. My background in journalism and mass communication from the University of Arizona, combined with graduate work in strategic communications and digital strategy, allows me to bridge high-level strategy with real-world implementation. I’m particularly interested in roles where I can: Drive cross-functional alignment at scale Elevate communication from tactical output to strategic leverage Lead teams with accountability, clarity, and purpose Long term, I’m building toward executive leadership in communications—where strategy, culture, and performance intersect.
