Background
About Ju Young Hong
Ju Young Hong has been blessed to be part of the MHC family since 2014 and in December of 2022 celebrated her new role as Director of Be Well. Her journey includes a Masters in Counseling, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction training from UMass Memorial Medical Center, teacher training from Mindfulness Institute for Emerging Adults from Duke University, and transformational leadership training at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Ju's goals for Be Well is to provide opportunities for students to take thoughtful pauses to check in with their mind, body and spirit and to then take that rich feedback to explore Be Well's four areas of wellness (healthy body, healthy mind, healthy community and healthy life). Ju's joys include mediation, hot yoga, napping with her golden retriever and spending time with her kids and chosen family.
