The Oxford dictionary defines a building as "A structure with a roof and walls, such as a house or factory.” But in my eyes it is so much more than that. It is where dreams are made, smiles are engineered, tears are swept away, careers are made and we watch our kids grow up. It is where we get to experience all our emotions, whether good or bad. A building is brought alive by all those emotions and makes every building unique and different. To me it is life and most importantly where my happiness lies. Creating a building that is alive, aesthetically pleasing, maximizes its potential value and gives its occupant the opportunity to be overwhelmed by those emotions, and more importantly, be overwhelmed by happiness.
