Exemplifying U.S. Marine Corps core values of honor, courage and commitment, Juan T. Rojas Jr. is accelerating his civilian career while leveraging his Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Fordham University. Combining his supervisory experience, analytical skills and military service, Mr. Rojas is committed to positive change, new ideas and continuous improvement.The avionics technician cared for and managed more than $500 million in several aircrafts, maintenance equipment and other tangible assets; completed over 476 maintenance actions in man-hours during a seven-month deployment to Afghanistan; and supervised and trained personnel in aircraft maintenance, repair and functionality checks.The data-analytics enthusiast ensured cost reduction through collection of information and analysis in each of his assignments and developed solutions to a wide variety of problems, recognizing the importance of problem prevention and root cause analysis. More recently, he conceptualized a brand, implemented procedures and collected data for a local entrepreneur in the restaurant and entertainment industry.Working diligently on becoming a subject-matter expert (SME) in his field, Mr. Rojas aims to take companies—from start-ups to established enterprises—to the next level by helping them meet or exceed their goals. His appetite for efficacy can be satisfied through developing and implementing efficient business solutions. The avid traveler, who has visited 18-plus countries and four continents, values cultural competency as well as diversity, equity and inclusion. Holding a general radio operator’s license, the Spanish speaker believes learning new languages promotes DEI and that linguists gain valuable insight into our world’s varied cultures and rich history. Among other distinctions, the honorably discharged veteran was recognized with two Navy Unit Commendations, a Meritorious Unit Commendation, a Certificate of Commendation, several Letters of Appreciation and a NATO Medal – ISAF Afghanistan.
