He is currently the News Director for KTVK Univision Arizona and Univision SLC, Utah. He held several positions in Telemundo Arizona 39, including Managing Editor and Executive News Producer. He was born in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico and immigrated to the U.S. in 1990. His interest in news journalism began in Mexico during his involvement in his High School newspaper. Following his dream, Juan attended Arizona State University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcasting from Walter Cronkite School of Journalism in 1998.
