Her fields of expertise include Intercultural communication, expatriates training and relocation; organizational diversity, communication, culture, learning, development; innovative performance of MNE subsidiaries. Her research papers have presented at international academic conferences, including ICA (International Communication Association), NCA (National Communication Association), AOM ( Academy of Management), AIB ( Academy of International Business), OLKC (Organizational Learning, Knowledge and Capacities conference. In addition, she has published about 30 book chapters and journal articles, including Journal of World Business, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Journal of Comparative International Management, New England Journal of Entrepreneurship, Journal of International Management, Oxford Bibliography, Frontiers in Psychology, Higher Education, Asia Pacific Journal of Communication, Intercultural Communication Studies, Journal of Transcultural Communication, Competitiveness Review, etc. As a research consultant, she has worked with several MNE subsidiaries on corporate communication, culture and knowledge management. She provides strategic and tactical advices to multinational organizations to improve performance of global talent management, negotiation, multi-cultural teams and innovation. Bringing a unique blend of hands-on business experience with multi-cultural insights, She helped organizations reframe and solve their challenges related to communication and cultural diversity. She is a certified trainer worked with MNE subsidiaries in Asia, North America and Middle East, providing executive coaching sessions with multiple instruments including SDI (Strength Deployment Inventory), IDI (Intercultural Development Inventory), etc. Now living in Victoria, B.C, Juana has lived and worked in Beijing, Hong Kong, Toronto, Freiberg (Germany), New York and Athens (U.S.) the last decade, and traveled extensively throughout Asia, Europe, North America and Middle East.
