EXPERIENCE SUMMARY: Having 12 years of strong experience in theatre and performing arts, Juben has closely worked in teaching and training for various Educational Organizations. Currently he is working as a professional drama teacher for IB MYP-DP students in Victorious Kidss Educares, an IB world school in Pune, India. He also holds B.Ed. under university of Pune. He has diverse experience of teaching to the age of 8 to 18 years in state, CBSE, IB MYP and DP setting. He has also worked as a professional soft skills trainer in corporate industry for IT companies. He is awarded with a ‘Gold Medal’ at international level in Dubai for performing arts. Being passionate for Theatre, his expertise lies in acting techniques and forms, characterization, direction and script writing. He has experience in curriculum design and review, IB evaluation, designing rigorous assessments, differentiation & policy making, inter-personal skills and holistic development of each student. He demonstrates resourceful technical skills in teaching and excellent collaboration with all stakeholders.*IB Workshops attended: DP CAS: Cat3 DP Theatre: Cat2 He has been a backbone for over 20 drama productions including Shakespeare’s ‘Titus Andronicus’, Tagore’s ‘Jibito Mrito’, Manto’s short stories and musicals like ‘Beauty in the Beast’, Aladdin etc. LATEST FROM BIOGRAPHY- 1.Was invited and presented a research paper at "International Theatre Conference of Performing Arts" on 'New Narratives in Theatre' in 2022 at University of Calicut, Kerala. 2.Written, acted and directed an awarded experimental Hindi-Urdu play “Siyah Manto” with 14 enthusiastic actors. It has won 2 awards in state level Hindi Rajya Natya Competition 2019. Selected for National Playwright’s Workshop organized by National School of Drama in Jan 2018. Only 2 candidates were selected from Maharashtra state by NSD. Won 1st State Level Award in play writing in the name of renowned Marathi playwright Jaywant Dalvi in Sept 2017. Won GOLD Medal for Best Actor in “Global Cultural Olympiad of Performing Arts 2013”, in Centerpoint, Kilachand Theatre, DUCTAC DUBAI- an international competition held in Dubai, UAE. Played a lead role in William Shakespeare’s famous drama- “Titus Andronicus” - Conceived & Directed by Mr. Vidyanidhee Vanarase Prasad from NSD.
