About Jude Hanlon

I am a hands-on software development leader with additional experience in business and management. I combine extensive corporate and public sector developer experience with more than ten years building and managing successful businesses. I am an experienced degree-educated IT professional and have successfully led complex web application development, IT installations, quality and compliance projects in environments ranging from Europcar to the Home Office. At Magnit I have been involved in a number of projects including the development of a new compliance tracking system for healthcare workers, enhancements to Magnit's blue collar temporary staff resource management system and second line support and trouble-shooting live systems. I currently own the blue collar product, working with the Senior VP of Product to refine and manage improvements to the system. Before September 2013 I worked at NIHR/Wellcome Trust Manchester Clinical Research Facility as Data Manager, with additional operational management responsibilities. My main role was to develop and support the bespoke intranet which manages a number of staff and portfolio management functions. I assessed the suitability of, and then introduced a new booking and metrics system. I also took on some marketing and operational management tasks and was seen as a valuable member of the facility team. Before this I built a computer support company with my partner. Over nine years we saw consistent growth, building up a loyal customer base. As well as developing a number of bespoke web-based systems for our clients and for use in-house, and developing client websites, I successfully managed all areas of the business, including marketing, strategy, finance, and staff management.
