About Judi Chen

Judi Chen has work experience in multiple industries (Health Care, R&D laboratory and GMP manufacturing, construction, finance and insurance, sales and marketing). In addition to her bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University, Judi has also acquired a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OH & S) from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). Over the course of this multidisciplinary OH & S program, Judi acquired practical skills in health and safety legislation, accident causation, workplace hazard and control, hazardous material management, occupational hygiene, and safety systems analysis. Her work experiences in the construction industry and specialty chemical industry, gave her the opportunity to develop hazard analyses, lead incident investigations, assist in the COR auditing process, and liaise with muliple levels of management and workers across the organization. Judi is certified in Occupational First Aid Level 1 and Fall Protection.
