About Judit Toth

With over 17 years of experience in human resources management across multiple United Nations entities, I bring a strong expertise in HR strategy, recruitment, and talent management within the United Nations common system. Throughout my UN career, I have managed diverse HR functions including payroll, benefits and entitlements, HR policy interpretation, administration of justice, high-volume recruitment and rostering exercises. I had the opportunity to lead the first-ever country-level joint UN initiative to establish a One UN Roster for the UN Country Team in Palestine: an effort aligned with the UN reform to Deliver as One, which enabled multiple agencies to access a shared pool of qualified professionals. My experience has also supported my work as a UN Career Coach, where I’ve worked with individuals and groups to explore and develop career paths in the humanitarian and development field, offering guidance based on firsthand knowledge of navigating the UN system. Currently serving as Head of the Human Resources Section at the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS), where I lead HR operations in support of the mission’s mandate to promote peace and security, good governance, and regional cooperation across West Africa and the Sahel.
