About Judith Campos

I have always strived to move forward and expand my experience in helping the community from a variety of ways. Education is my passion as I feel that it can transform lives for the better; from informing people of their legal rights to opening their eyes to new knowledge, I have always worked to help people achieve their personal goals. I have helped more than a hundred immigrants who are survivors of crime obtain legal status, taught English as a Second Language to those who wish to increase their language domestically and abroad, taught writing skills to community college and university students so they can progress in their educational and career goals, as well as provided valuable information to my local community as a library branch manager through library materials and programming. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and speak advanced French. I have traveled, lived, studied, and worked abroad in order to learn about the world and further expand my skills in interpersonal communication, problem-saving skills, learning skills, and self-management skills. I have learned to interact with people from various countries, walks of life, and levels of English language ability. I have learned to lead volunteers, give presentations, lead a classroom, and create curriculums. Despite the above, I continue to work towards improving my skills and abilities to better serve my community.
