About Judith Davidson

I joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in following a successful career in intercollegiate sports where as Director of Athletics, I managed multimillion dollar enterprises at California State University, Sacramento and Central Connecticut State University. As President of the U.S. Field Hockey Association, I led the organization from the brink of bankruptcy to financial solvency. Caring for my twice widowed mother and managing her assets during her last 2 years changed the focus of my practice to working with suddenly single women."I often wondered what other women do if they're suddenly single and lack the knowledge, experience or confidence to manage their own finances for the rest of their lives, especially if they do not have anyone they can trust. While always considering myself empathetic, I developed new insights and expansive levels of compassion as I became a parent to my mother. Living through this experience defined a new focus for my career." I am a graduate of the University of New Hampshire B.S, Boston University M.Ed, the University of Massachusetts Ph.D. Honors include Outstanding Alumnus Award from the University of Massachusetts Department of Sport Management 1995 and induction into the University of Iowa, Athletic Hall of Fame 2005. I earned the CFP® certification, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc, and hold the following licenses: FINRA Series 7, 63, 65 registrations and California Life Insurance. I have served on the Board of Directors for the Tierra Del Oro Girl Scouts and the California Musical Theater Foundation. I currently serve on the Board of Directors of CASA El Dorado.
