I've been a journalist writing all my life, from newspaper work to Congressional offices. I've been writing, editing and instructing college level writing course. I've finished up two novels and a book-length manuscript on the current women's activism in the Catholic Church—called Priestshakers. OST EXCITING NOW: I've finished HAYGOOD'S ROCK after eight years of researching. It's a historical novel that exposes the white supremacy of 19th century in story-for, based on scenes with dialogue taken from letters and documents—woven into the life story of Atticus Haygood, an early Emory College president who wrote OUR BROTHER IN BLACK, defying the racism of his peers and went on to disburse over.a million dollars in funds to seed what we now know as the Historically Black Colleges and Universities of the South.
