As a creative, entrepreneurial, practical, proactive individual, with expertise in diverse sectors: Funds Management, Philanthropy (Family Offices), Social Enterprises & Publishing; I am very interested in the intersection of Funds Management and Philanthropy as there is much to be done in that space - tapping creatively into the increasing awareness that 'for purpose' entities/ products/ structures and 'the world of money' are great bedfellows. I have substantial experience & a successful track record of delivering a 'clean-sheet-of-paper' strategy: from sales team creation, high performing team management, plus strategy creation & implementation to deliver substantial enterprise growth in a heavily regulated environment (AFSL). In addition, I delight in wrapping branding and marketing around operations. I revel in establishment and growth. My current challenge is in philanthropy: What can I do to help Donors and Corporates partner with Charities (NFPs) making them more resilient, robust, agile & sustainable? The challenge is to make the GIVING world more Effective & Efficient whilst engaging all three: heart mind and soul. FAMILY OFFICES & CHARITIES - Whilst undertaking specific projects for a small number of Family Offices, supporting their efforts to assist local charities I've formed the view that the charities themselves need real & tangible support. Not just money - support from smart people to help make long-term & transformational change, to be more agile and more robust. To build capacity now and for the future! The support required needs to address 'the-hard-stuff' & to do so in a very practical way. I'm seeking to enter into conversations with Family Offices/Foundations—a collaboration of sorts—to explore the development of a roll-out of an 'empowerment program' for charities.
