About Judy Radovsky

I specialize in the custom design and fabrication of mounts for safe display of museum artifacts, which I've been doing since 2004. I am a crafter, maker and problem-solver by nature; passionate about Design. Combining fine arts, graphic design, museum and theater practice into a ubiquitous Multidisciplinary Exhibition Design, I build conceptual works and thematic, theatrical, environments. An exploration of methods and materials, my work Is an experimental practice that begins with curiosity and critical thinking. My skill set, experience, wonder and engagement lend themselves uniquely to concerns of performance, narrative, space, research and collaboration. I have an inclusive and energetic working style and communicate easily, an attention to detail, to thinking spatially with consideration to materials properties and their manipulations. My understanding of composition and form, of timing and transparency, color and movement all translate through the breadth of skills I’ve cultivated that bridge the 2D and 3D.
