About Juergen Hefele
Jürgen Hefele, a visual artist and designer, pursued his master's degree at the University of the Arts in Basel, Switzerland. Jürgen has taught international design workshops and has participated in graphic design exhibitions and international conferences. At the Technical University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg's Faculty of Design, Jürgen teaches typography and conceptual design and works as a faculty member since 2018. He works for the State Textile and Industry Museum (tim) in Augsburg as a creative director. In addition to teaching, he collaborates with type designer Robert Strauch to operate his studio. His areas of expertise include typography, book design, exhibition design, and brand identities. Jürgen serves as Vice President of the global design association, United Designs Alliance (UDA). He is also a member of the Typographic Society in Munich TGM. Jürgen is an enthusiastic sketcher. He lives in Augsburg, Bavaria, but his favourite city, Istanbul, is like a second home to him.
